Among these subjects, the summoning of voidsent, the study of primals, the mysteries of Allagan technology and countless other matters shall be explored.The work of this body is to advance and augment the archives of Sharlayan’s collective wisdom, ensuring that such knowledge is preserved with utmost care. In so doing, its members are pledged and sworn to protect society from the perils inherent in the reckless or misguided application of that which they unearth, guarding the balance between discovery and caution, knowledge and safety.Thus, do they undertake these endeavours with solemn duty, bound by oath to safeguard both the truths they uncover and the sanctity of those we all seek to protect.

  MORRIGAN'S RECRUITMENT    As a scholar in the fields of botany and medicine, she had long been known in Old Sharlayan for her revolutionary research in the aetheric properties of plant life and her experiments with healing magics. However, it was her work on the delicate balance between life and death that truly caught the eye of the Consortium's higher authorities.Her groundbreaking studies in reversing states with a genetically grown flora and her work with umbral-aspected aether—specifically her experiments involving the void—presented a unique approach to the medical sciences, one that could either save or doom lives, depending on how it was wielded.

The Consortium saw in Morrigan both a potential ally in their pursuit of dangerous knowledge and a promising leader capable of navigating the moral complexities of such research and offering interesting insights and perspectives to future researchers.Recognising her aptitude for balancing curiosity with caution, the Consortium extended an invitation to her, offering the freedom to explore her controversial work under their banner. Divided into specialised research domains, each Chamber seeks to unravel the mysteries that lie beyond our understanding at a great cost to those who dare to explore them.Among the foremost fields are Voidsent & Undeath, focusing on the nature of the Void, its corrupting influence, and the secrets of necromancy and the undying; Summoning & Primals, which delves into the rituals, dangers, and power of primals and other aetheric entities; and Ancient Technology, where scholars examine relics and remnants from long-lost civilizations, particularly the Allagan Empire, to unlock their long-buried potential. The Shards chamber explores the interconnections between the Source and its reflection shards, investigating the delicate balance that governs all worlds. Aetherology is dedicated to the study of aether's essence, flow, and manipulation, while Celestial Systems investigates the influence of the stars and celestial bodies on aetheric phenomena and mortal destiny. Arcane Constructs examines the intersection of magic and engineering, unraveling the secrets behind magitek creations and arcane automatons. Lastly, Alchemy & Medicine studies the merging of healing magic, potions, and pharmacology, not only to cure ailments but also to manipulate life itself.These Chambers, each with their own critical purpose, operate under the Consortium's guiding principle: to safeguard knowledge from misuse while ensuring that such arcane truths benefit the greater good, no matter the cost.
